Presidents meetings
Presidents of associations are called together for planning meetings to prepare matters to be presented to the General Assembly. There are two meetings a year, one in the spring and one in the autumn.
If the association president is unable to attend, the meeting may be attended by another member of the association's board/executive committee. The schedule of meetings is available on the Jäsenyhdistysinfo-page (requires login with member ID).
Union meetings
The Spring Union Meeting approves, among other things, the Union's Group financial statements and annual report, as well as the starting points for long-term planning. At the autumn union meeting, e.g. the union's long-term action plan, the next year's budget and action plan, and the union's board members and board chairman are elected.
If the member association wants a matter to be discussed at the union meeting, it must make a written proposal to the board. The presentation must be submitted to the board at least 4 weeks before the announced meeting. The schedule of the meetings can be seen on the Jäsenyhdistysinfo-page (requires login with member ID).
You can get the names of union representatives from your own member association.
