Q: How long will the exam take?
A: The duration of the exam varies depending on the type of exam you have registered for. A detailed list of exam durations can be found above.
Q: I have dyslexia. Am I eligible for additional time?
A: Yes, participants with dyslexia are granted an additional 30 minutes for the test. Please be prepared to present a valid medical certificate on the day of the exam.
Q: What should I bring to the exam?
A: Please bring the following items to the exam:

Q: What am I not allowed to bring to the exam?
A: The use of unauthorized materials, such as cell phones or any written materials (including syllabi and course notes), is strictly prohibited during the exam.
Q: What are the prerequisites for the exam?
There are no prerequisites for the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level exam. In all other exams, the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate is required. Expert level exams require additionally at least 1.5 years of practical testing experience.
Q: When does the registration close?
A: Registration for Advanced and Expert Level exams closes 14 days prior to the exam date, while registration for Foundation Level exams closes one week before the exam.
Q: I registered for an exam but needed to cancel. What should I do?
A: Your registration will become binding 14 days prior to the test date. Cancellations made after this deadline will incur a charge of 50% of the registration fee. In the case of a no-show, the full registration fee will be charged. Cancellation notifications will only be accepted via email at ilmoittaudu (at) tivia.fi.
