9:00 ICT Showroom on vuosittainen tapahtuma, jossa opiskelijaryhmät esittävät ryhmätyönsä ja tapaavat yrityksiä. Mukana on arviolta noin 50 opiskelijatiimiä. VSTKY / Tivia on mukana arvioimassa parasta ICT ratkaisua. Voittaja saa hienon palkinnon. Tämä tapahtuu ICT-talossa Kupittaalla. Tähän voi tulla muuten vaan tapaamaan yrityksiä ja opiskelijatiimejä.

Jami Aho, Specialist in digital graphics, Futuristic Interactive Technologies -research group, TUAS
Let’s delve into the benefits of implementing generative AI into your visual processes. Drawing on their extensive experience in digital graphics, presenter will showcase examples of how generative AI can enhance workflows and provide new opportunities for creativity.
Jami has been looking into new workflows in this field for over 10 years, be it with f2p mobile games or with VR and AR technologies using 2D, 3D, vfx, etc. Now focused on utilizing Generative AI and other new tools like NeRF’s to enhance current ways of working. Music as a knowledge domain for algorithmic processing and AI
Kalev Tiits, Musicologist, teacher, and musician in electronic music and music technology currently in Sibelius Academy at University of the Arts Helsinki, Finland. Musical works and sound installations presented i.e., in Tampere Biennale, International Computer Music Conference ICMC Göteborg, La Primavera en La Habana festival Cuba, Santiago Electronic music festival Chile.
Kalev will review some historical developments of music in relation to algorithmic generation and artificial intelligence, and present ideas particular to music as a domain of knowledge. Special nature of music generation is discussed as related to a view of music as a time series. The talk will also briefly touch less time-oriented applications of machine learning within music technology.
